Welcome to Sea Rover Adventures – Boat Tours.

By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Company Identification

The service is provided by SALPICOS D’ORO LDA, with registered office at Urb Fazenda Grande Lote P12 R/C Esq, 8400-141 Estômbar, Parchal, Lagoa, Portugal, Tax ID 519358660, registered in the National Registry of Tourist Entertainment Agents (RNAAT) under number 1019/2025

  1. Scope of Services

The website provides booking and organization of maritime tourist activities, including boat tours along the coast and cave visits.

All activities are subject to weather conditions and sea state. Safety is the top priority, and services may be adjusted or canceled accordingly.

  1. Bookings and Payments
  • Bookings can be made through the website, email, or phone.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated.
  • The booking will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of payment and respective confirmation.
  • The confirmation sent by email serves as a voucher and must be presented at check-in.
  • When a booking includes multiple participants, the person making the booking is considered the group leader and accepts these Terms on behalf of all participants. The group leader must be at least 18 years old.
  • After completing the booking, it is not possible to change the payment method.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

By the company

The company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule activities in the following situations:

  • Adverse weather or sea conditions
  • Technical problems or unforeseen circumstances
  • Failure to meet the minimum number of participants (when applicable)

In these cases, the customer may choose to:

  • Reschedule for another date, or
  • Receive a full refund of the amount paid

By the customer

  • Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the activity are entitled to a full refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show (no-show) are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation requests must be made through customer support channels.

The refund timeframe for card payments depends on the issuing entity.

  1. Participation Conditions
  • Participants must check in at least 30 minutes in advance.
  • Activities may not be suitable for:
    • People with back, neck, or heart problems
    • Pregnant women
    • People with reduced mobility (unless expressly stated)
  • Wearing clothing appropriate for weather conditions is recommended.
  • Animals are not allowed on board, except for properly certified assistance animals.

  1. Safety and Conduct

By participating, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:

  • Boat tours involve inherent risks (e.g., boat movement, contact with water, natural conditions).
  • All safety instructions given by the crew must be strictly followed, including wearing life jackets when requested.
  • The company reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate participation without refund in cases of:
    • Inappropriate behavior
    • Intoxication or being under the influence of substances
    • Actions that endanger safety

Damage caused by negligence may result in additional costs.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The company is not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, delays, or incidents occurring during the activity, including those resulting from:
    • Natural conditions
    • Operational risks
    • Acts of third parties
  • The company is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought on board.
  1. Insurance

All participants are covered by mandatory insurance under applicable legislation, including liability and personal accident insurance.

  1. Data Protection and Confidentiality
  • Personal data provided during the booking process will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).
  • The company adopts appropriate security measures to protect user data.
  • Information provided by customers will be treated as confidential and used only for service provision and compliance with legal obligations.

  1. Use of Image (Authorization)

By making a booking and participating in the activity, the customer authorizes, under applicable legislation, the capture, reproduction, and use of their image for promotional and advertising purposes, in digital and physical formats.

This authorization is granted free of charge.

If the customer identifies their image in any format and wishes to have it removed, they should contact the company and indicate:

  • The image in question
  • Where it is located

Removal from digital media will be carried out whenever possible. In the case of physical formats (e.g., printed material), removal can only occur in future editions or reprints.

  1. Contract Validity
  • If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
  • The customer’s rights and obligations may not be assigned without prior consent.
  1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.

Any disputes arising from their interpretation or execution will be submitted to the competent Portuguese courts.
